Krungsri Mung-Mee SHOP with Connect Hub: Payment Notifications for Merchants
Explore Krungsri Mung-Mee SHOP from a practical merchant perspective, including QR payment acceptance, how it works with Connect Hub In-App, and observations about sub-accounts, notifications, and background operation.
Which Payment Methods Does Mung-Mee SHOP Support?
Thai QR PromptPay
Krungsri's official information states that Mung-Mee SHOP supports Thai QR PromptPay, allowing customers to pay through supported banks or e-wallets.
Credit-Card QR
Krungsri states that Mung-Mee SHOP supports credit-card QR payments, with fees and conditions depending on merchant type and the bank's applicable terms.
Payment Options for International Customers
Krungsri states that Mung-Mee SHOP supports Alipay/Alipay+, WeChat Pay, and Cross-Border QR for countries supported by the bank.
Mung-Mee SHOP with the Connect Hub In-App System
Mung-Mee SHOP is one of the merchant applications supported by Connect Hub's In-App system, and we have moderately tested it with our system. Connect Hub works with notification information from the supported application to assist payment awareness and merchant operations. It does not alter the payment process or the bank's rules for moving funds into the merchant's account.
Observations from Connect Hub Mung-Mee SHOP Testing
Up to 10 Sub-Accounts Observed
In Connect Hub testing, we have observed the ability to create up to 10 sub-accounts. This is an operational observation from our testing and is not presented as a feature published in the bank's public information referenced for this page.
Notifications for the Main-Account QR
In Connect Hub testing, when a payment is received through the main-account QR, we observed message and audible notifications on the main account and all sub-accounts.
Notifications for a Sub-Account QR
In Connect Hub testing, when a payment is received through a sub-account QR, we observed message and audible notifications on the main account and the sub-account associated with that QR.
An Important Day-to-Day Mung-Mee SHOP Observation
From Connect Hub testing, Mung-Mee SHOP works well while left operating in the background. After it has remained in the background for some time, however, bringing it back to the foreground may involve waiting while the application reconnects to the bank's service, followed by a request to enter the PIN again. For merchants using Connect Hub, a workflow we have found convenient is to sign in to Mung-Mee SHOP, leave it operating in the background, and use Connect Hub Merchant Manager to review information relevant to Connect Hub operations during the day. This reduces the need to repeatedly reopen the banking application and spend time signing in again.
