Connect Hub is exploring an extension of its payment notification system by integrating a thermal printer with supported merchant banking application notifications and SMS payment alerts.

The concept combines two outputs when a supported payment notification is received:

1. Audible payment announcement to inform store employees of a payment event.
2. Automatically printed payment confirmation slip to provide a physical record for later review.

The objective is to reduce reliance on manual slip photography and make payment recordkeeping more convenient for merchants.

Note: The printed document would be generated from payment notification information, rather than issued directly by the bank. Final payment reconciliation should still be based on the bank's transaction records.
